Manitoba Hydro is the province’s largest Crown Corporation, with annual revenues approaching $2 billion and a staff of approximately 6400. The utility serves 555,760 electricity customers throughout Manitoba and Manitoba Hydro exports its electricity to the Midwestern United States and Canadian Provinces 

Manitoba Hydro has a generation capacity of 5690 MW. Manitoba’s peak energy demand is approximately 4460 MW and total energy load is approximately 25,000 gigawatt hours.
